Tara yawned. She wasn't tired, per say, but she was bored. There wasn't much to do today...there wasn't really much to do unless a ferry was on it's way in. She hated that, though she knew she should enjoy it while it lasted. She sighed and pushed the swing back slightly and held herself there. It was weird, this giant park district and not a single child had come over on the ferry. It had all been people in their 20's. It was curious to her the way it worked. But she wasn't complaining. Children creeped her out. She chuckled faintly at the thought and let herself swing forward.
She let her eyes wander. It really was beautiful here, it was one of the sections that wasn't covered in Steampunk propaganda. It was an odd sight to her. Swing sets and slides and all of it brightly coloured. It was weird to her to try to imagine a world that would look like this. She pushed herself again and let her eyes continue to the large patch of grass to her left. She wasn't even really sure what you'd use it for, but there were nets on either end. She continued her gaze but was met with the familiar sight of the cobble path lined with lights. The area was small, everything around it looked normal to her. Which is why she was drawn here. Where had The Mayor even gotten the idea for such an odd playground? She swung again.
Not that she was going to complain, she was enjoying this contraption. It was almost like falling but you never hit the ground. She smiled faintly and pushed the ground again. She had to admit being here made her feel stupid, she couldn't name any item in this area, but it all looked so innocent. Far more innocent than anything else on the island. She let her gaze shift up to the sky and she let out a little laugh.
